Excellent - coming soon - the DVD

Excellent report Chas. Pleasure riding with you all and snoring at you:augie:D

Would love to do another one next year if timing is right - or would you rather sponsor me to snore somewhere else?

Chas and Wully sent me their piccies which I have now combined with my pics and the maps I did into a day by day slideshow set on DVD with the pics, GPS route and Google Earth file- proper job like wot I did for Llangollen 07 Fords Run and for BMW Morocco 08.

Just doing the final tweaks to it now. I will bring a copy up to GotC for viewing and if anyone wants a copy I will make one up and send it to you. Obviously, further donation to the charity we supported welcome with costs only to me (postage, label and DVD blank).

If anyone can't wait that long and definitely wants a copy ASAP then PM me.

Cheers all

TP

You know, I have a funny feeling getting 20 riders for next April will be a lot easier this year ; )
See you then Tara.

I just received the DVD Neil aka Tractorpilot made up and it is bloody excellent:bow:bow
Great soundtrack from Capercaille to Runrig and put together with a multitude of photos, GPS tracks and Google earth files. Great reminder of the trip for anyone and great inspiration for anyone considering visiting Scotland.

If you liked this ride report then its a must have:thumb2

Thanks Neil:beerjug:

inspiration for this year

You know...I fancy doing this again :D

I love those roads!

Excellent report and photos

:clap

You know...I fancy doing this ...[snip]

Me too! I've been to the Mull of Galloway, Ardnamurchan and Dunnet Head, but not all on the same trip. Somehow I've missed out on the delights of Peterhead though. Do you intend to get over to Cape Wrath again?

Anyway, it was an entertaining ride report Chaz, I'll 'watch this space' to see if anything develops.

Ye'll need a proper bike :augie

Dunno Wully....it's been done on a VFR before....got the pictures to prove it :rob
Getting that itch that only an adventure can scratch.....and I don't mean one of those big heavy nasty German bikes :augie

Like I said to Wully, Cape Wrath was done on a VFR on this trip.....but I wouldn't do it! (Don't tell Wully that although:toungincheek)

Defo going to do some of Scotland again this year but I think my big trip of the year is gonna be across the Hull ferry to Amsterdam and down through Northern France....probably in June.....who fancies it???:D
