Bin fiddling with a bagster tank cover for half an hour or so..trying to figure out the best way to fix it on.
2d hand so no instructions. Have taken the right hand panel off below the tank but still cant get the rear most straps through.
Can anyone please enlighten my dimness...do I have to lift the tank??
Cheers Ian

Straighten a wire coat hanger an put a long shallow hook into the end (bend it back on its self ) take the side panels of carefully push it through (you can see it) put the strap into the hook and gently pull it back.

Even more stupid....

Ahem... does this mean that the RHS strap fastens to the LHS buckle?

If so, mine's been fitted wrongly for....well....ages. I just looped each side strap around the frame rail and back to its own buckle.....

......just like my signature, I guess!

Tank bag

Me too, I think LRR is correct. I have an instruction sheet that I can fax to you.

Thanks all. I've lifted the tank sligntly and got them thru' that way.
Gouged lumps outa me wrists in the process.
Now I'm puzzling about the front, there seems to be loadsa straps with no obvious way to fasten them I presume left to right, plus theres one on the top which I've bin fiddling about with.
Anyway, gave up cos its got too dark!
Maybe I should do a search there may be instructions on here somewhere.

I bought a tank cover from Roger which had 2 nice indents in the strap where he had tensioned it under the tank (I assumed).

I did it like LRR & SH with the rear straps.

Been using it for a while and all seems fine - including carrying several pounds of meat from my favourite butcher in Monmouth.
