There's a 750 and a 500 both sound and look fantastic ; the nickle plated highboy frames really set them off; there's usually a vincent grey flash battling with them hard; we've done Gedinne a few few times ; but Chimay was always the holiday event every year for us; that's a good picture;
I understand why Brad didn't bother to collect it. I wouldn't either.

I’ve always thought that boxer engines look out if place in cafe racer style bikes, they don’t look quite right me.
A bit like a boxer (or a Guzzi vee twin for that matter) in a chopper.

Which is a shame as the bike has had some hours put into it. But that 90 RWHP figure? Richie Moore states up to 80 for his engines depending on the state of tune. Let's see that dyno sheet then...

My guess is they got one of Richie’s sidecar engines (look at how the oil cooler is plumbed in) and force fitted it into an ST frame.
Can imagine for a moment he’d have endorsed that thing.

After i came across this post and i feel i must correct all the nay sayers and the clueless. about 11 years ago i was told to build a race engine and gearbox for a solo that could be used on the road, so i did. i could never understand why and i had no idea about the end user. the engine should make between 85 and 90 at the wheel from similar spec engines on the dyno. the exhaust is to the spec i gave him and the oil cooler has 100 % flow of the oil not like the piss poor cooler on the filter head. don't get me started on the spin on filter conversion other than utter shit. as for the pics of the bikes from becks he only builds up to 750cc and is 9 hp at the wheel behind mine. i never normally say much because my engines do the talking for me. my engines hold almost every classic sidecar lap record in the up to 1300cc class in the uk isle of man chimay, gedinne, red bull ring. and in the USA and new Zealand. icould go on but i don't need to.
