I've just been for a most excellent zoom around, down to Brum to polish my wife's ring (fnarr fnarr) dropped into Benhams to giggle at the 1200 miles WC with a noisy flapper valve (seems to be an arse theme going on here
) and then back down the twisties home.
I recently did a short service (oil and filters) with the view of doing the valves and throttle balance in the next couple of weeks. The bike is great, but on the motorway once nice and warm there was a definite hesitation post 90, almost like the bike is holding back. Seems to accelerate fine and smooth, but the hesitation has me pondering the cause. I also noticed the engine was a bit noisier than usual.
So, would the valves/lack of throttle body sync cause the above. My gut feeling is yes, but I do trust the collectives opinion more than my own. Only in here mind, the majority of the rest of the tossers are a bunch of numpties
