Does anyone have, or can point me in the direction of where I can get the mentioned screw and any washer or spring that it should have please?

Bike (1150gs single spark) had recently started to very slightly hesitate on tickover. Not quite a misfire but idle seemed to be lower when bike was warmed up and it popped/backfired when throttle eased off slightly. (Does that anyway when throttle closed quickly which is normal on mine with cat and stubby) but has been doing it more recently.

Fitted new plugs, no change. Coil/ht leads were gonna be next until I checked r/h side throttle body and found that the screw that secures the cam that the throttle cable runs around, to the main body was missing. So.....started her up. On idle....I pressed the cam against the body and there was a definite change in idle speed, slight increase.

Found a spare screw which is a bit short but will do in short term and fitted it. Went for a ride and it seems to have cured it. Will have a longer test tomo to and from work.

So......where can I get a screw from and is there any washer or spring required? I found an exploded diagram of the throttle body but it doesn't include this bit:nenau

Anyone able to advise please? Cheers:thumb2

Think I might do that. Bike was fine yesterday but back to square one again today. Screw is still in cam but cam is not tight.

Does anyone have an diagram of this please?

Mr Scriminger tells me the cam is two plates riveted together and that they can fail. Next question is what size rivets? Forgot to ask:blast
