Scriminger are always busy, and bound to be a time delay, more than worth the wait though.

Start bike, apply pressure on cable pulley wheel with finger, if noise disappears you've found it.
Whether they need replacing is more subjective.

My throttle body rattled/knocked really loudly with minimal wear, nothing as serious as this.

When I throttle off the revs dip below 1000 rpm then slowly rise to 1150 then hunts on ilde will this be the cause (worn throttle body) or is it something else I gave it a good hammering yesterday it pulls well cruised for 90mph for hours but when stopped same thing all the usual has been changed

I had no obvious symptoms when running other than the racket at tickover, but I had minimal wear. Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.
