Only way I can think of to do it yourself is with a gs911. If it only moved a tiny bit though you can try this:

Unplug the battery for 15 mins, this makes the ECU forget the adaptive settings.
Put battery back in, switch ignition on, turn throttle fully and back slowly 3 times, switch ignition off. After that try it as per normal and see if it is OK.

If it has moved beyond the limits though you will have to get it positioned again by either a dealer or a 911.

The sensor will move a little but the bolts will put it back into alignment. Do the TPS relearn procedure to set it correct again.

Fear not, Malcolm. Unlike the previous oilheads, the 1200 does not have any adjustments for the throttle position sensor. All you will need to do, if anything at all, is as Mark_GSA suggests: Disconnect battery for a few minutes, reconnect, turn ignition on but do nit start, then slowly open and close the throttle fully 3 times. Turn ignition off, back on and start the bike. Job done. No special tools, computers or practisers of the Dark Arts required.
