Thunderbirds Are Go!

OK lads,,
NO publishing where they are now without 24 hour delay..
It's ok for us with the live trackers but the lads want exact whereabouts to be off the site in real time...

If you want Sids spot tracker detail, you know how to get it :augie

At their current rate of progress we'd better wait a week before posting where they are, or aren't :rob

:D

Much fun had yesterday riding in, at times, insane traffic. Were riding in two groups and Im with Sid, Milktray Man and Paintman and we all had top fun.

The local guys'n'gals have all been truly friendly (apart from the guy in the Merc, eh Sid ;)) and we hooked up with a couple of Home Counties boys on an A Twin and KTM.

Won't be going far today wether, paperwork to be sorted and were not sure how long it's gonna take.

Andres

Good progress:clap
seems only you and Sid have gotten to grips with the 21st century communication skills:D

Morning fellas! You're back in the same time zone as us now, right?

Have fun with the paper work today :type

Feckity feck, just found we have wi fi here! :blast

All safe and sound with so many tales to tell, wait for the ride reports, they will be interesting. :augie

As for updates, sorry you'll not be getting any until we are further south, not even 24 hour delayed ones. We've had a chat and people are making decisions on what they are going to do so for now it's going be nothing more than " all safe" until further notice. :blast

Johhny has I see been editing posts and will continue to do so, please be aware of how participants are feeling and don't post any tracker info on here or any other site, last resort would be to close access to trackers and that's something none of us want to do.

"All safe" :thumb2

Gonna be naughty and post a bit more :augie

T'others have moved on, Sid is still tied up with paperwork and Im still here with Paintman. Why are we still here? Well, last night there was a big clunk from my (artificial) leg and that was it, one broken leg.

I've had my crutches strapped to the back of the bike 'just in case' and they were put to good use as Paintman, myself and the hotel porter wandered around looking for a repair. A guy in the street sent us off up a hill and when we got there we went into the basement of a block of flats and were in a chandlers/saddle makers - half an hour later and I had new (stronger) rivetts in place and Im foot loose and fancy free again :)

This has one of soooo many examples of just how wonderfuly helpful and genuine the people over here are - yesterday, a guy old enough to be my dad grabbed my hand and helped me across the road because he saw me limping, restores your faith in human nature - and some!

Right, just waiting for Sid now and we're readyto rock'n'roll :beerjug:

Just been looking on the satelite where Gert, Bhud and Thunder are and it looks superb, with great roads. I am surprised on the route they are taking but maybe its because of the roads they are on... Oh I wish I was there with them:(

Glad your back on your feet again Andres and hopefully you'll catch up with the others soon.:comfort

Have fun

AndyT:cool:

Keep an eye on Sid,:comfort as he's liable to fly off the handle if some officious penpusher is pissing him off

Bonjour

Special Agent Crapaud reporting from deep behind enemy lines. Thats if you call a certain un-named Embassy the enemy. They made 2 mistakes on my visas yesterday so I returned this morning to congratulate them on their stupidity and ask them to correct them. At first they said it would only take a few minutes at 9.00 am. Hours later, he told me it will be ready at 3.00pm.

No worries:) Just had lovely lunch with Andres and John and now found cafe with vzey strange keyboard.

Thunder has imposed a very strict news blackout so I am not even allowed to tell you which country we in currently in but I might give a slight clue if I told you we had a "tangerine" for dinner last night.

We are hoping to catch up with the others later on. It has finally hit them that if they only ride 200 miles every other day we will never reach our final destination before Easter time. From now on there is going to have to be a bit of a move on.

Must go, internet cafe owner wants to close for lunch.

Sorry not been able to update blog, but made many pages of notes and it will be worth waiting for.

Sid
