Thunderbirds Are Go!

Well done mate - you'll be on their tails before you know it.

Are you wishing you hadn't overhauled your starter motor before you left - or was that not the problem.

Take it easy.

That wasn't the issue. After visiting Steptoe who is a gent of the highest order we changed the hall sensor. Not sure that was the problem, as it wasn't happeneing that often when I went to see him. It was intermittent.

Oh well if it happens again the fix seems to be turn the ignition / cut off switch off off and on again and that should fix it as it might be a problem with the mototronic.

I had that on the Grrr I stripped and cleaned the RH switch and ACF 50'd it and had no more problems

Either that or it was linked to me changing the battery had yours been sluggish turning over before this happened?

Are there eateries fuel stations beside the Peage plazas?? Either that or the boys have been knicked for speeding?

Is Sockpuppet still planning on continuing on down to the Cape, solo, after Gambia ??

Aye. I'm homeless in the UK so barring a huge change of mind I'm going all the way (then possibly back again depending on funds).

Well done Sockpuppet! There's a chance of everybody meeting up at some point on the trip then :mmmm

I believe the dilly-dallying at about 11 was caused by minus 10 degree temps and icy surfaces, leading to frosting of visors, followed by frosting of glasses! So Thunder had to pull on to the hard shoulder and dig out his contact lenses and try to insert them while lorries were hurtling past.

Update wise, I don't think they mind broad general comments, just not close up photos of the actual hotel! So they're now close to the Spanish border, and hopefully the weather will get a bit warmer soon.

Good going chaps!

Young man, there's a place you can go.
I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.
You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find
Many ways to have a good time. :thumb2
