Out of interest if you BMW emergency does this cover you for such eventualities, ie they'd pick you up if you couldn't get your bike home/to a dealer due to a puncture? I never got any policy documentation with my bike re BMW emergency![]()
called BMW assist, they were with me within 20 minutes, fixed the puncture in my rear tyre and i was away in 20 minutes I got a puncture on the way home from collecting it form the dealercalled BMW assist, they were with me within 20 minutes, fixed the puncture in my rear tyre and i was away in 20 minutes
It lasted another 8,000 miles til i changed the tyre.

While youre at it, get a T50 torx bit for the rear wheel bolts and a T45 torx for the calipers and pinch bolt.

Go into your local car spares shop - laser sell a 19x24x22 multi removal bit. 22mm fits in the wheel spindle, the 19mm is for the socket/spanner. Size is no bigger than your thumb. - and you have a 24mm spare - cost me £3.
