I mentioned 10 days or so ago that the bike ('00 1150) was running rough and vibrating more than it used to.
Well, following extensive reading of previous threads here and on other sites, I thought I'd have a go at "sinking" the throttles. Twinmax arrived this morning from Calamander. So armed with notes I set about checking the valve clearances. All going fine until the very last bit - replacing the small black rubber timing hole plug. For those of you who have meddled, you'll no doubt have guessed that my "small black rubber timing hole plug" now resides inside the cavity!!
Help! Anyone got past this level? What next?
TIA
