I been trying to buy a OEM top box liner for the GSA and people that have them must really like them cause there's nothing doing.
Anyone out there have this bag and could give me a little feed back.....I know it's bag and there's not a lot you can say BUT the bloody thing costs 70 quid so it's got to be something special....Hasn't it?

I use a pair of Kriega KS40's for the side panniers which fit perfectly in both sides and the quality is second to none, I just wish Kriega made a suitable bag for the top box.

Any feedback re the OEM bag and other recommendation appreciated guys :thumb

I have just bought a 'Great Biker Gear' inner bag for my R1200GS Vario top box. Cost me £22 off eBay and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Probably better than the Mane Event ones I bought a while back for my panniers.

I've got a Trax inner bag for the top box and it's really well made with useful side pockets. About £40 if memory serves.

I've used both the BMW bag and the bag on e-bay in Pol's link, I prefer the e-bay bag and have sold the BMW bag, why?
Because the BMW bag takes up a lot of space even when it's empty, it's well made but it's bulky, for a change of clothes for a long weekend I tend to take only the top box and the lighter thinner bag is well suited to this not least because it is side or top opening so easier to pack clothes into, of course it's not waterproof whilst the BMW bag is but this is not an issue for me.

Same as humvee, I had the BMW top box bag and didn't like it. Too bulky and I found it marked really easily, you get horrible black marks from it rubbing against the aluminium. Sold it and bought myself the mane event bags again as I had them on my previous bike and thought they were great

Luggage straps, for easy box carrying to my room, plus bin liners, for maximum space and dryness, every time for me .:D
This sort of thing for either top box, or side cases,(which can of course ALSO be used for strapping additional luggage).:

I have the straps for the boxes but I don't think you can beat the convenience of liners for carrying......BUT I do like your cost effective "bin liners" ;)

You could be a complete tart like me and have all your boxes carpeted then you don't get any black marks etc.

Oh Shit!....That's two of us Danny. Got some leatherette (do they still call it that) to line mine from Dunhelm's

Mine were lined by a professional vehicle upholsterer with proper carpet, no leatherette here, do you wear chaps as well!

Upholstered boxes :ymca I'll bet you also blow dry your bikes? :D
