Fancy a bit of tint on my 06 Adventure. :D
I have seen tinted screens for the standard 1200 but can't find one for the adventure. :blast
Can anyone help, alternatively, has anyone tried one or the tint spray kits? ... any good? :augie

I have a tinted GSA screen on my GS, genuine BMW from the dealers, don't remember for sure what the price was but something like £130/150.

Anyways, a can of spray got to be cheaper, right?
So, anyone with a feedback on sprayed tinted screen?
Does it peel of the screen?

That was going to be my next question :thumb

I was thinking of getting my winglets tinted (sounds rude, ooh er) by an auto window tinter chappie, but i dont know what they would look like.

I cant find pre-tinted ones anywhere :(

Well that's it, more money to be spent now, that tinted screen does look the mutts, oh well easy come, easy go..
Thanks for the picture YONKYO i think!!!
As for the winglets, I think I'll just spray tint for the time being at least.

Been looking on fleabay at spray tints for the winglets, the directions given on the adverts say "Do not use on Plastic", I'm guessing that they react in some way with the plastic so maybe not a good idea:eek:
However, :D there are several companies selling tinted film .... that might be worth a try, if it looks crap you can just take it off again :thumb2

winglets

I looked into it getting tinted winglets but drew a blank :augie

i guess we need a guinea pig :D

Nippy Normans offer a tinted version of their winglets.

Not a perfect match for the BuMW screen tint, but better than clear IMHO.

I can take a picture of my GS with tinted ADV screen and NN tinted winglets if anyone wants me to?

Point taken on that, have experienced using on plastics before it either shrivels it up or crazes, neither are good outcomes. Would have to find out what type of material winglets are manufactured from first and then maybe get hold of a broken one as a test piece.
As for the tinted film option, not sure if it would stand up to the elements thrown at a bike riden all year round.
