Been with them since 2006 and all been well til recently, (since Talk Takl took over?) speeds have slowed and it is impossible to connect in the evening assume because of over load. Have sent a sh.. e-mail to them which will not make any differnce I'm sure so thinking of a change. Any one else had similar probs?.

tiscali is renouned for it
i told em they were failin to keep to their contract , and changed to 02, went from 2.4 meg wich is the max tiscali said they could do, to 16 meg, 14 meg minimum, for the same price

many thanks for that just as I suspected and being taken over by talk talk hasent helped, looks like a change on the way. Anyone tried Virgin?, they took over the firm which a few years ago put cable tv in our road wondered if they might have fibre optic cables-faster speeds.

Iv'e used TalkTalk for 18 months. Only one hiccup in that time(modem lost setup) which their second line tech support talked me through fixing. While we were speaking he commented that I was only 220 metres from the exchange so how about making my connection go quicker?. I can download a Garmin map update (3gigabytes) in an hour, which is surely fast enough. Tiscali have apparently had problems at various times with their domain name server not working, which leads to websites seeming to appear and disappear at random.

Had constant problems with Tiscali shutting down the connection so now with Zen for last 2 years. Only problem I have had since switching was a router problem at my end, very helpfull support guy who diagnosed the problem had new router in the post to me that day. I recieved new router next morning, plugged it in and all back to normal.

Well, after sending an e-mail to their complaints dept a few days ago got a phone call!, got to take the speeds at about three times and let them know and then their technical dept will look into it. better than I hoped but just see what happens, not much I suspect but still live in hopes!.
