They are available in Titanium? are the regular AKRA headers not expensive enough for you?
I have AKRA headers on my LC, lovely bit of kit ;)

I thought about the titanium ones when I got mine, but prefer the way the stainless ones look, after a few miles.

Remember I mentioned about getting them ceramic coated a few weeks ago? The guy in the US that did his said that he had a nightmare with fitting the pieces together, and he also chipped some of the ceramic off, when he fit them.:blast

Bare stainless is the way to go, Steve.:thumb

yes available in titanium, the coolest colour on earth is blued akra titainium

yeh very easy to fit bob, ive ordered the titainium ones from italy taking advantage of the euro at the moment so only a tenner more than nippy sells the stainless ones for:rolleyes: then its off to hilltop so geoff can make them go a nice colour on the dyno:D

I have the full system ready to fit not had the time but might do it this weekend and then off to see geff as well, bob

Only gripe I had with the full Akro system, if you use the vario's and a full decat system your clobber in the right vario (by exhaust can) will stink of exhaust fumes due to non cat :(

Any of you willing to place pictures of both sst & titanium headers with the natural discolouration well underway? I want to form an opinion on the "look" of these items. Already have the Akrapovic slip on my bike and do not like the standard chromed header look.

I've only had the stainless ones, so here are some pictures.

On my last bike, after around 6000 miles:

And on my current bike, after around 400 miles!:D

I like the way that the joins are a different colour.:thumb

I have Titanium akra headers, but on the S1000RR if you want me to take some pics, might not be able to do immediately though.

they look super cool.. a good run on a dyno (after its been mapped) will get them glowing and will get to the colour temp required, you can also cheat and put the pipes in a bath of electrolite with DC current, with more current added titainium will go through all the specrum of colours with amazing results

I do love em when they go blue, you will need to paint the heatshield black for the stealth look, looks much better then plain stainless .

Mr Skid, please furnish us with that link when you find a minute or 3.
Cheers,

Are those titanium? They don't look much different to mine, if they are.
