Yo All, I cannot find any answer to this question in the forums but i hope someone can help. I have been offered a pair (front and rear) of conti tkc 80 tyres for my 2002 r1150gs (not adv). front...110/80/qb 19 and rear 150/70/qb 17. I can buy them very, very cheap (like next to nothing). Question is what are they like to ride on?
any extra vibration on tarmac, plus what is the on road wet riding like, (grip etc) and aprox how many miles will they last with 90% tarmac riding. These where fitted to a brand new gs which my mate bought but he was not really into them so i have got 1st dips on them for buttons. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. cheers and stay safe.....Joe (cragrat)

They are crap mate. I'll have them.

What have you got to lose at next to nothing. I ride all my bikes like a fanny in the rain and that is probably where the tyres aren't going to be so hot (I still find two wheels scarey in the wet). For me I would have them. If you don't want them then I can come up to Liverpool and take them off your mates hands.
