To keep the Beta haters happy

Are the discs lipped too after this excessive pad wear?

Hmm interesting as the compound does look different from the 1250 pads , less sintered / copper coloured did discuss this with service but no reply as of yet .
Unbeknown to me I had organic pads fitted to my 1100gs in the nineties. wore out in doublequick time. Changed to sintered and no problems. Ever since then I have looked to establish what type of pads are fitted to the rear brake, if they were organic I got them changed !

Arsey the crazy catlady at it again...He is probably sitting at a dealership and his fat arse bend his dampening rod...LOL

Bike back from BM , they have done all the measurements required from Germany , and they have said ( Germany) that all is as it should be . Well , I disagree , they also said that the two bikes were run at the same time and by that it seems to point to riding style . Well slap me with a wet kipper , I must check the manual to see where it states not to go fast . Look , give me more power , better brakes and suspension, what do you expect , the bike is made to compare to the other bikes in its class .
Well excuse me Fritz , we fellows like to use all the new upgrades and not just go up and down the Panzer express ffs .
They have given me 2 free sets of pads , well , well done , let’s seen what happens .
Oh and before we get the usual , I am working with my dealer around this so will go the full distance as love the bike , and all its issues . Just waiting for smoke now 😂😂😂 may the jibs begin🤪

Are the front pads normal? like, not worn. If they are there MUST be something wrong with the rears, if it was riding style/habits surely front would get the most wear. I don't know about you but I seldom use the back brake in circumstances that would cause wear by riding hard. It's normally at slower speeds.

it's not unheard of for someone to ride the rear brake pedal if it is not adjusted correctly

Yeah, I agree with this but Stick seems to be experienced enough to decide upon whether this is an issue.
And, both him and his mate have the same issue, along with others who have a 1300GS. It's less likely to be.

What a joke, ok so i change my bikes a lot but dont even remember buying a set of rears before and I did 10k miles in 18 months on my 1200GS and i wasnt hanging about. Something sounds amiss with it to try and blame riding style is a cop out.
