Read a few post regarding both not sure whicch road to go down:nenau
I`m 6ft 1 and get a lot of buffeting so any suggestions on which to fit to my 03 1150 adv would be helpful, and no I not getting both:nono

I have got both on my 12. The adjustability using the Tobinators is excellent. I`ve got the screen high & raked back far more than on the oe adjstment.

This is my earlier response to a GS12 tosser :) , if it helps you make your mind up:nenau

Hi
I would echo the comments above, I have had a MRA Vario screen on my 1150 GSA for a year.

Ive found it an improvement over the stock screen, even with Torbinators (Im 6.0), although I notice a deterioration if Ive Im using the Airhawk seat pad & Baglux tank bag. It seems to be something to do with the way that the air comes around the screen and flows over/past the tank. At least I dont get the awful bufferting. No a revelation just better.

I was toying with the idea of adapting some 1200 winglets to see if they would improve the airflow around the side of the screen, but was hoping someone else would go through the expense, pain & sacrifice first!:D

Torbinators with the screen raked back also improved the the standard screen, but I found I lost the chest protection from the elements.:nenau

tobinators v mra vario

I have an mra vario and it is certainly much better than the standard screen when it comes to buffeting and turbulance but it does'nt stop your shoulders and upper arms getting a pounding. So I experimented with 2 old visors and clamped them on to where the winglets locate, drilled a hole through the other end and fixed them to the vario adjustment bolts so they were actually much bigger than the winglets and they looked pretty cool. Did'nt make any difference at all!!!!:nenau . So off they came. So it looks like maybe MRA have got it right and thats as good as it's gonna get. They've certainly got it ''righter'' than BMW and that's a fact. I certainly find the vario far better than the standard screen ( I'm 6' 1 and have a sergeant seat in high position )

I tried the std screen with tobinators, an Adventure screen on it's own and also with tobinators and have endd up with and stuck with an MRA Vario for the past 2 1/2 years with no problems. It's not perfrct, but beter than anything else I've tried. I'm 6ft .:beerjug:
