Today is the day!

Go with Bluetooth you don't want crap autocom wires

on my '07 K1200GT...
i spent $3,000.00 USD before leaving the dealership
2 SHOEI RF900 helmets (state of the art... then)
and the most expensive autocom system (helmets rigged, too)

the speakers were so uncomfortable in the helmets i never put them on again
the sound quality wasn't excellent
there were gremlins that could never be exorcised

in a nutshell: a 3K USD waste of money
won't EVER do that again

Well I was mobile at 0000 hours
Quick 16 miles
WOW !!
The LED lights are awesome
Another 200 miles today after a jam sarnie :-)

i ride a lot at night (work all day to pay for my GS)
so... great lights is extra important to me
not to mention "being seen" during the day

can't wait to hear more about YOUR experience(s)

A trip to Skipton today, via Kettlewell, and some scary hairpins
Over 200 miles and loving it !

bluetooth

i've spent thousands with autocom over the years... i just think that technology has caught up and their are several BETTER and FAR CHEAPER alternatives in 2013

on the other hand, haven't used one since the SPA systems came out
maybe they are still worth the money

I brought bluetooth sets for two helmets off ebay music is fine sat nav is fine and intercom is fine below 75 mph
£66 the pair BT 800

I expect more expensive units may perform better but ive no complaints with them.
