hi folks, can anyone please throw some light on a toll in my tool kit,it about five and a half inches long is hollow and slightly shaped at either end,what on earth is it for.

Without more of a description I'd assume its the piece thats used for slipping over the end of some of the other tools to add leverage![]()

Surely that is for a toll road?![]()

If it is a fairly recent 1200 GS look in page 99 of the owners manual
Sounds like either:
Item 1 - extension for hook wrench (C spanner) for adjusting the spring preload on your front suspension
or item 3 - extension for screwdriver blade which helps you adjust the damping on your rear shock.
Now lets move on before the 1150 bandits have too much fun
