Have an Ipaq running tom tom and have the camera database loaded, but also have the sound files for each speed rating, and speed zones etc, anyone know how I can associate this with the camera database so as well as warning of the camera it also says the speed rating of the camera?

Do you have the PocketGPSWorld database, or a different one?

If the former, you can associate sounds for each TYPE of camera. For example, you can have a different setting for a red light camera to a fixed Gatso.

You do this in the POI management function in preferences.

The PocketGPSWorld database doesn't distinguish between 30,40,50 etc limits (at least the last version I had didn't) so you cant have a different sound for different limits.

If your using the Tom Tom speed camera database the method is the same as above but you can have a different sound for different speeds if that's what you want. Each speed camera "rating" is a differnt POI. Just set the distance from POI to alarm and then choose your sound from the library. The speed of the camera 30, 40, 50 etc. shows in the top LH corner. It won't speak the speed of the camera if that's what your asking.
