Off to Steptoe to collect my bike, after it was written off by my insurers.

Looking forward to getting it back.

I was nearly in the same boat yesterday. I have never seen so much smoke come off a tyre as I slid to a halt yesterday behind a car that slammed on the anchors. What a smell. And I have a nice flat patch on the rear tyre now. Bikes still in one piece though. thats what counts.

Looks great Bud. A question for you. What make are your auxillary lights and brackets and do they make a worthwhile contribution at night?

i use RING rectangular aux lights on a migsel bar lights were sourced from halfrauds at 30 quids
wired into main beam as there trigger

They look like hella ff50's... les wassell of HID50 sells them at a great price. I can also confirm that they do make a difference. I personally didn't want to take the HID route or got for big lights... these as a 'dims' alongside a pair of piaa dichromatic spots completely transformed my light situation. well worth it.

My FF50's were broken during the accident. The light bar is home made, well, homemade if you have a brake press available to you.

The ones under the light baR are Hella Micro DE foglights.

They make a huge difference.
