Picking the right moment, ducking down, watching the speedo (GPS) have no trouble dashing past 90, then rolling onto 95, then it's the slow count up to 98, 99 and then seeing the Ton - keep her nailed and she adds another 2 MPH
That's the great thing about an Airhead it makes doing the Ton-Up a magical experience.
On the HP2 the ton can be past almost anywhere and while your still in the process of thinking 'feck this is fast' there's no build up, it's just something that whizz's past- I expect the Wasserhead is the same.
The 1150 will of course do it but it's not in its comfort zone above and there's no sense of achievement in doing it.
....so there you have it, for the joy off doing the Ton-Up IMO an Airhead has the others beat fair and square
It was an enjoyable quick blast this morning - a 57 mile A and B road loop
60.3 average MPH
I refuelled, out of interest, to see how how much she'd drunk on a blast like that 33.7 MPG
