Not really RT but it is for the RT so guess counts..Anyone know how I can get hold of him.Tried Message sending bounces back..

go and use the old dog and bone always answers his phone eventually also only £80 for both seats doing

It was a dangerous game going to Tonys to drop off a seat - best to do it on a day off as he would talk your ears off. Also, any schedule he had was purely ficticious - best to ring him up and say "im coming to get my seat in 4 days, get it done mate". Odds on he would be doing it when you collected it. A great lad and the true definition of "old school".
 
Tony is definitely still working. I was there yesterday collecting a pair of reupholstered seats from him.

Brilliant fella, very obliging .. first class service & workmanship too. 👍👍

And you will often find Roger Bennett drinking tea with Tony, or minding the workshop whilst Tony is out.

Roger has the unit next door, and is an old-school airhead engine specialist.

I recall having a fascinating natter with Roger many years ago when he was finishing an R100 high comp twin-plug Krauser rebuild.

Roger was shooting for 95bhp, and the owner had spared no expense - billet rods, forged pistons - wonderful.
