I love GSs. I am on my second GS . . . but I am getting frustrated. 
My 05' had four firmware upgrades. The speedometer died at under 500 miles. The rear seal started leaking at 6,000 miles. My 08' shakes like crazy when you get to 70/75 mph. The dealership can't figure out why. In the process of looking they have replaced the rear wheel (which was out of round) and rebalanced the front wheel. Now the front shock is toast. (They called me and said it was leaking.) 
Come on, BMW. Get your act together.
