I have a nasty suspicion that I have overfilled the oil in the Adventure.
I took it out for a spin to get it warmed up before checking the oil level. Can't remember now whether I left it on its side stand for 5 mins or whether I put it straight on its centre stand. Now though, ater a good run out I can't even see the the level.
It has had a good run, but so far anyway it doesn't seem to have caused a problem - the bike is running sweet as a nut, and there is no oil leaking from anywhere.
I don't want to risk any damage to my pride and joy, so is there an easy, painless and cheap (between the GPS, Migsel mount, Ram bits etc I have blown my biking budget for a while) way to check / correct my mistake ? If there is too much in there, I haven't gone too mental as I didn't have a load left in the can to begin with.
