Tool Tray on 1150/1100

Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone else has thought/done this.
I have an autocom and a fusebox that I need to mount on my 1150GS - thought I would get a tool tube and use the space under the pillion seat.

Of course there isn't enough room - the old tool tray is just too filled with plastic bits to be worth while.

Has anyone found a replacement for this? It is easy to remove, but the remaining space won't work as I'll need to make it water proof for gear.

I did find a fellow that made one out of fibreglass, but that is a bit more than I want to try at this time.

Any advice?

I fitted an autocom in the tool tray without any mods...just had to remove the tyre repair kit. Also fitted an eastern beaver fusebox just in front of the battery.

If you resite the diagnostic socket you may fit the unit under the rear of the tank,

Contact Nomad biker, you aint a memebr so you can't send him a pm but do a
search, he's done this. There is'nt much room here between the rear wheel on full rebound I tested it with gaffer tape. I fitted a tool tube vertically next to the rear No. plate works ok fitted a pad.lock on the top also.
Lot of room for bits in here as well.
