Piss taking is welcome.

Fitted these onto the bike and have come across a couple of issues.

1) I think I'm going to need alternative fixings to keep the pillion pegs on the bike, is that right? Anyone had previous experience when fitting one of these to an adv?

2) The rear indicators stick out like plugs ears and of course foul the boxes.

I'm thinking in the past people have had the same trouble what did you do?

Any suggestions or remedies welcome. :bow

Are you sure that's a TT rack?

Might just be the angle, but your pillion peg mounts look like they're missing a lug on the frame loop - an alloy plate which holds the peg fixes on there with two bolts.

My TT Zega rack came with two stainless plates to mount the o/e pegs to - moved them down and slightly forward. Bloody lethal - caught my ankle twice on them, sold them and refitted the original plates after cutting off the tang at the back for mounting the plastic cases. I use Mosko Back Country 35 soft bags which means I don't need the pegs moved.

You sometimes have to shorten the indicator stems or mount then further back to make the rhs pannier fit.

If you want to move on the plastic boxes back in my direction I would maybe be interested !

The TT rack should really fit with the pillion pegs....
Looking at your pictures there ought to be 2 threads/.screws for the pillion pegs and on yours there is a lot of tape but can’t see the other thread??

Oh and mine came with a bracket to move the indicators backwards but I am sure you can use shortened indicatorarms as well

Yes, use shortened indicators.
Vern used to make up the threaded tubes to fit.
