Tool Tube

Hi Adie

Can you tell me where you got the aluminium strip from? I had a look at Homebase but they only had flimsy 2mm strips.

I got mine from work but they purchase from the Metal Supermarket http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/ (store finder on web site) you pay a little premium but you can get exactly what you want cut to size. Failing that try your local industrial estate and chances are the local eng shop will let you have a rummage in there scrap bin.

HTH

Adie

Well not complete, yet, but this is where it will be fitted once all the fitment goodies arrive.

Now does any one have a suggestion on what to use to remove the yellow markings?

Tool tube

I managed to pop down and pick my tool tubes from Mozza
as I work just round the corner from him many thanks to him for organising this.

I have already put them into practise as fuel holder for one of
them and puncher repair and tools in the other also found
that bottles of wine fit just as well.

Thanks again Mozza.:thumb2

If there is another order going in for these I'd be interested. I'm a stingy git, so you can't PM me, so maybe an email to steveaicheler at gmail dot com. :D

Hey Graig,
I fancy one of these 'Tool Tube' thingy's !

Have you got any at the moment ? I'll be at Knockhill with the British Touring Car meeting from 15th - 18th August. Could be worth an entry pass:augie

To quote the guy off of the Apprentice "now that`s what I`m talking about", PM me.

I`ve ordered some more but they`re weeks away but I might just have 1 spare.

Mozza, I sent a PM on the 10th, would that qualify me for the next delivery or are you making a list up for a 3rd one yet :)

I`m planning on doing a quick website once the tubes arrive for folk, just makes it easier for all concerned.

Quick Peek : http://www.mozzatube.com But PLEASE DON`T BUY ANY YET , as they`re not even in the country.

Like the photo stream, specially the Strom with the twin set under the cans.

Do you have a guesstimate for your next delivery? Can we order and pay in advance now, so you can just send them out once you have them?

Val.

I`m still waiting on delivery from the states so at the moment I`d hold off. It should only be a matter of a week or so before they land.

does that include the ones that were ordered on this thread after the initial batch:nenau

I only ordered 60 for those who initially signed up then had to draw a line under it, effectively just asking everyone therafter to hold off until I dealt withe the 1st 60 and ordered some more.

For those that weren`t on the initial 60 list but who expressed an interest thereafter they`ll be able to order them from the webpage once the 100 tubes I`ve ordered arrived.

Mozzatube

Mozza me likes the website.

Liked the 3rd picture (rear left mounted). I would like to know who did that job. Looking for those clips used to attach the tube.

Suggestion: Maybe you can add a list of parts used and supplier (if provided with a photo)

website looks good.

Has anyone worked out a way to "lock" the cap? I have an idea but im waiting for mine to arrive to try it out. - i ordered mine seperatly BTW
