I'm after a top box for daily use, carrying work stuff, grabbing some shopping etc.
I want something that is strong and will withstand the odd scrote attack and repeated kicking as i swing my leg over the bike
Needs to be waterproof and well fitting, the last one i had rattled around on the baseplate when empty and got right on my t!ts.
I've been looking at the H&B stuff and am considering the Gobi. Anyone got one and will it hold a helmet?

I like my Givi Maxia Top-box... It's waterproof, holds two helmets (or one, and pretty much everything else needed during a "close to home" ride...

It's tough too... Mine has scratches on the top from sliding down the road upside-down in Norway last year... Fully loaded... (though there is some talk of the mount plate bolts, at the back shearing off... mind haven't yet)

This is what I use. I only use it for work, it's large enough for one helmet and other rubbish I have to carry around. Laptop fits in it perfectly.

Top box

givi every time, mine's now ten years old and been on my rt and since 2001 on the gs. This has had it's share of knocks but is still great, water proof and bang proof. You can't go wrong.
