New to forum and BMW just interested in owners top six add ons or modifications that you did and think were a must :bounce:natter

bar risers, akra exhaust, fender extender, limberger hugger, touratec seat, crash protection on paralever and cylinders

Mudsling (or Maier Equivalent), Front Fender Extender, Kahedo Front seat (Depending on the mileage you do I guess), MRA Screen, Radiator Protection, Cylinder head protection, Topical at the moment, a Cymarc Clock anti theft bracket ;)

ACF50 or it will vanish before your very eyes.....:beerjug: welcome to the nut house...

I'll 2nd and 3rd that :D

Don't ride on salty roads...or slightly damp roads....or if its windy in case bits get blown off.....

Nah its an amazing machine - but definitely coat the ENTIRE thing in ACF-50 if you intend to ride it between now and March.

NOTHING is essential except a willingness to jump on and take it for a ride (instead of cleaning and 'upgrading' it)

My best mod/addition was probably Autocom and Zumo 660 for SatNav & tunes on the longer rides.
Next to that would be crash bars and cylinder head guards - mine rolled off the stand 3 days after I bought it :D

After that its down to personal preference - I got some SW Motech Hawk spots as I like the look of them.

Mudsling
Fender extender
Bar risers
Akra exhaust
Nav V
Gear shift assist

Headers, exhaust and remap.

Bike is quick and responsive from stock, but with a free flowing exhaust and a re-map ...... just sublime fuelling ... :thumb2

Or maybe you just thought you were going faster, as you didn't have any instruments!

Essential:
Machineart Mudsling
Cymarc Crud Catcher (looks better than a fuddy duddy fender extender)

Nice to have:
Cymarc Radiator Guards
Touratech 15mm bar risers
Wunderlich adjustable Screen Extension (great for big mileage)

Optimate lead aint a bad shout too.

New to forum , essential add ons and mods required:-

1 thick skin
2 sense of humour or lack thereof
3 ability to find the pointless drivel in any given topic and ensure it goes on and on and on and on etc you get the picture.

If you can deal with the regular shit thrown about on this forum then anything your bike has to endure will be minor in comparison.

Wellcome.

Oh and Acf 50 is a pretty good start otherwise when you get to April 2015 you may find your bike has dissolved into a heap by the roadside.:blast

You may need to cover yourself with ACF50 considering the amount of shit that's slung around on this site !

Just don't bite ! !.............. Wankers are wankers where ever they reside.

Crash bars
Cymarc crud catcher
Cymarc clock protector
Fender extender
Garmin 590
Sena SMH20s

Nothing essential but for me the nice to haves in order of preference are:

Mudsling
Puig extra tall screen with spoiler
Cymark screen braces for the above
Touratech front seat (extra tall)
Nav V
Akra end can

Definitely a Machine art Mudsling without it the shock and whole of the rear of the bike will get minging very quickly
Also a front fender extender for the same reasons
Seriously after the crap I got from the dealer after taking mine in for its first service (having dared to use it on dirty roads and turning up filthy) I would take measures to keep on top of its finish as it was written on the job sheet regarding its condition at 700 miles regarding any future claims regarding corrosion problems

1. Means to buy fuel.
2. Rider with a can do attitude.
and for winter:
3. Muffs.
4. Heated jacket.
5. Heated trousers.
6. Heated insoles.

Thats all.
.

Not including Luggage & Sat Nav

  1. Cymarc Digital Display Anti Theft Brace
  2. Touratech Black Stainless Steel LED Headlight Protector
  3. Touratech Black Stainless Steel Radiator Protector
  4. MachineArt MudSling and Avant Fender Extender
  5. Cymarc Black Front Crud Catcher
  6. Touratech Black Front Brake Calliper Covers

Agreed, with modifications.
