topo maps

Hi i,m kinda hoping some one here can answer this ,can i install topo maps on my 550? if so what are the the best ones i.e most like OS maps and do they show details like footpaths ,by ways etc .I have looked at the garmin maps but they dont seem to give any mapping examples and i dont wanna layout that kinda money without knowing what i,m getting

just make sure it's the version 2 maps you get as the version 1 are pish

Topo UK v2 will work fine with the Zumo550, it does include loads of POI's, all roads and street names.

It will not do auto routing, nor does it show byways or foot paths.

Load it to a memory card, and you can switch it off or on at will.

are you sure it doesn't autoroute I'm positive I had it autorouting on my 60CSX ?
and it does show foot paths just not them all

Used on it's on it will not autoroute (i.e Turn by Turn), if both maps are displayed at once, routing will work via the other set.
