Hi just topped up the oil .the bikes cold i have nt started it and its just up to the full level on the glass sight
best advice ?

i was worried as its showing that level cold

In fact that's a good idea. Ride over, heating the engine up. Put on centre stand, nice and level, outside my humble gaffe in E1. Wait four or five minutes for oil to settle. View sight screen. Top-up (if necessary) with FREE oil. Ride away.

I always check mine when its on the side stand you have to get down quite low to see, puzles me why they don't put the site glass higher on the bike, never had to top it up yet. should I have the engine hot for this?
