Torance tyres... where are they???

I have had a new set of tourance tyres on order at my local garage for about three weeks, the front came in within a couple of days, and as the bike was in, it was re-shod, but the back was on back order. I heard today, that it is still on back order,
Unfortunatly my rear (Tyre) is knackered now, so can't ride it and I'm getting desperate. The garage suggested I put something else on, but as far as I'm concerend I'm not going to fit different tyres on the bike...

Question is, does anyone know of anyone that has any of these tyres in stock? or should I consider fitting a different rear?

Tourances in stock !

Contact Universal Tyres, Union Street, London, SE1 on 020 8808 3179. They had Tourances in stock on Saturday and do a ride in ride out service. Both ends cost me £183.

The importer

I think the importer is Cambrian Tyres of Aberystyth. I just changed both F & R with the rear being of a higher rating 'V' I think as they had run out of'H' rated tyres.

Cambrian are wholesalers and will not supply direct but you could give them a call about supply issues.

Good news, I have a "V" rated one arriving tomorrow, (seems very few "H" rated available) and it will be fitted then, Blimey I didn't think It would be this difficult to get hold of.

Rear "H" rated is about £89 fitted if you take the wheel along.
