GARY62 Guest Apr 6, 2005 #2 How Tight? Hi Beemer, According to my BMW repair manual for R1100GS. Tightening torque for spoke nipple is 5 Nm, I can't see why the 1150 would not be the same. If it were on my bike I'd do it up until it sounded the same as the others. GARY62

Gary is right, tighten it slowly using an old spoke as a tuning fork until you get the same sound as the surounding spokes. yeeee haaaaaa!
