What’s the torque like on a 1150gs? Having not yet had a go on one, I’m wondering if it’s like a 600 and you have hop up or down the gears or like a 1000 were you can make progress most of the time in whatever gear you are in? I only have a Fazer 600 at the moment so I have to be careful of the gear I’m in.

There are a few of us ex-Fazer 600 riders here. If I were you, I'd pop into your local, friendly B*W dealership and get a test ride on one...................... Then be prepared to loosen your wallet!

Fazer600 = 41ft/lbs
1150GS = 72ft/lbs

Just a little bit more then! Take a test ride, you WILL notice the difference.
