TORQUE?!?

Is there a definitive list of torque settings aside from what's in the owners manual?!
I'm specifically looking for the torque specs for the upper bolt of the rear suspension if anyone has it. The 1250 model was 100nm but this bolt is significantly larger so I'm wondering if it's more.

If you include your model, year and even better month of manufacture,

it gives the bods on here a fighting chance of tracking down info, otherwise its best guess from 18 months of manufacture / engineering changes etc

R1300gs triple black with esa. I believe manufacture date was 2023/09.
Just to double up here as well (hoping the gurus have some insight) I have oil leaking from the front boot where the swingarm meets the transmission, is it safe to assume I need an output shaft seal? AFAIK no one has seen this yet on the 1300 models (lucky me!)

I can find the bottom bolt, but not the top, chances are its on another drawing

Yeah the top bolt goes into the frame just near where the fuse box is

I don't know the exact size but I had to use a t70 bit to get it out and it was probably about 3 inches long (that's what she said )

Weird suggestion, but have you called a Franchised dealer for the information? They might know more than some random people on the internet.

I like strangers on the internet, unfortunately the dealers aren't the best in my area

True, I've been trying to get ahold of them for the past hour, I'll just try a shop out of state

i suggest you go and measure it then.

That would require removing it again and quite a bit of disassembly in the process which unfortunately I don't have time to do

That's what I initially did which is the same spec as the 1250, but I finally got a hold of a dealer and the spec is actually 165 nm, so a good bit more!!
But now this info is living on the Internet for eternity so other schmucks like me can find it!

I had multiple super dukes and the rear wheel torque was 185nm,so fortunately I have a giant one
