Woops, sorry Blackbird, no I didn,t read your post correctly, my mistake, but yes I would pay the Man the £8 especially if he is a BMW Dealer with the Specific Bike knowledge such as Torque Settings etc and the correct tools to do the Job. £8 really is "small change" in workshop rates these days. But like Redrock infers it,s the overall cost and I would add, "Quality of the Work" carried out which is the deciding factor. I recently had some Tyres fitted to K1200LT loose wheels at a local non-franchised Bike Shop and it was a mistake involving having to get the Front correctly balanced at a BMW Dealer in France.
