Hi
just fitting a set of these muffs to my 1200,

can't fault the service and quality of the muffs, but coz I like to have my levers and mirrors tilted back its hard to get the velcro to join together over the brake and clutch fluid holders.

anyone else had this?

I use them all the time, and they're great.

Not had this problem, but they can take some mucking about to get them right.

so have you got yr resevoirs covered by the velcro or are they poking through (as shown in forst pic above )?

Fitted mine yesterday

Went straight on, so easy i actually had to check and then check again coz normally things dont go straight foward for me, now wheres that HiD kit !!

Muffs mean play

I must admit I have toyed with the thought of a pair of muffs!

No, on a serious note; are they really worth the hassle or do they just have a minor impact on cold finger tips?

With a heated inner jacket, a set of muff's and the grips set on one I've been blasting down the motorway with -2c on the temp gauge and I'm as snug as a bug in a rug.

May not be the coolest thing around but who gives a flying f**k when you're all toasty warm.:aidan

I have a pair on my station scoot and never wear anything more than cotton gloves (on my hands before the smart arses post). I also have a shitebag (gaucho) which is the dogs danglies as well.

Have both for the GS but have not got around to fitting thme yet....

Might give these bad boys a try; I do a 200 mile commute twice a week and after a couple of hours it gets painful and I end up stopping more often. It will have to wait until back end of January as I don't fancy riding the white stuff on my bike in the North East. Looks like another blast coming this Saturday.

It's a Klan. Had it a few years now and comes out every Winter. Use it instead of the detachable liner in my Rukka.

I suppose I could run it off the auxiliary socket but I just have it running off a fused connection straight off the battery. The necessary leads came with the jacket and I've used it like that on numerous different bikes over the years.

I used to have the Gloves to match which were fantastic but I got through 3 different sets as the heating elements kept breaking so in the end I bit the bullet and went for muffs. Riding a bike freezing cold is just no fun when it's not necessary.
