Tour de Corse 2011

too right we'll be there, i'm lookin forward to experiencing Sir Lungalot's organisational/logistical skills.

Good one Lloyd :thumb2

You haven’t got me mixed up with Shearings Coaches have you?...............

You can either have an Organised Tour or a Great Trip but not both
I have suggested some good routes, will book a few ferries and some hotel rooms in the busy places –
After that its up to you. Ride when you want, Go where you want - just have a good holiday. I will be.

I'll settle for an "Organised Trip", you're not starting to fret a bit are ya:comfort
its just that kev said he'd like to kick back, confident in knowing that he was in good hands, following a born leader:thumb2

You see, I think he got spoiled on the US trip, so you have a lot to live up to!!:beerjug:

Good on you David for leading this one....I'm still on the medication from the US. I keep hearing little voices in my head saying "will I like it"

David

Can I register a 'maybe' interest? Need a few things to line up first, so will (and have) missed the end of Jan deadline, but if I can make it, I will make my own arrangements re ferry and hotels etc.

Please can you email/PM me some ideas re hotels, if relevant/possible yet? I've downloaded the GPS file, but not looked at it yet (new MacBook Pro, still learning RoadTrip as opposed to MapSource!) so if it's all in there, sorry :augie

I'd love to do this trip if I can...

I'd like to register my interest as a "maybe". It's been a while since we had fun in the alps ;)

Tour de Corse

Bit quiet round these parts.

Have you set any dates (is 24th Sept defo) or got any more details. Cost of Corsica ferry etc.. It was beginning to look interesting....

Mmmmm, its looking good, dave i think thats another 2 to your list :):):):)

Get the old team back together, Redled at the ready :beerjug::beerjug:

I think he is talking about magnums alps trip we where on the way to the dam, when i pulled over to take a couple of photos at the edge of the road not realizing there was a shear drop so i TRIED to push the bike back over and slipped on the gravel, dropping my week 2 week old bike (redled):( but i got her up and turned her around trying to act as if nothing had happened "as you do". :augie Bit of a tell tale sign that one half of me was covered in dust!!!and i was sweating like a fat lass at the disco.:blast

Not that there was any one stopped to offer a hand.:comfort

Thanks for the Mapsource gdb file, very interesting route, all the best. I will be in Sardegna for Rally Italia a week before and then at the Tour de Corse a week later. Taking ferries between the islands, starting in Malta to Sicily, Sicily to Sardegna and Sardegna to Corsica and then to France.
