Tour X helmet - side pod thingys

... I was riding a 1150GS before and recently bought a Tour-X helmet ... not bad and the peak did a good job of keeping out early / late sunshine.

I swap bikes for the 1100S (yes, a traitor !) and the peak on the Tour-X is now a nightmare in the wind ... there is an option to buy new 'Side pods' (also known as 'holder sets') to use the helmet without the peak but for the life of me I cannot find them anywhere! Ebay has these for other helmets but not the TOur-X. Anybody, by the smallest of chances', have any links to sites selling these?

I thought they came with them from new? At least mine came with something like that, I may even have them somewhere (Black) I will have a look for you.

Yeah, should have mentioned that ... when I bought the helmet there was no bloody box ... didn't even think about it at the time! DOH!

By the way, the helmet is the GRAY one.

I think it was about HK$2,700 ... US$ 1 = HK$7.75, GBP 1 = HK$14.60 ... can't remember the Singapore $ exchange... but I think alot of folks come across from Thailand and Malaysia to buy stuff here ...

Hong Kong Dollar price was 2,190 ... works out at GBP 149.89 at today's closing exchange rate ... or US$282.58 (approx).

Helmets here are way cheaper than UK prices ...

... dunno about Singapore.

But of course, they seem to come without the nice little side pod things! DOH!

Yep, my helmet is the metallic gray one ... Spikehammer, what would you want for a pair? Let me know as I can't find the b*st*rd things anywhere ... (can be sent to a aUK address) ...
