Tourances...

My 1150 adv will need new ones soon.
How much for a pair ( fitted and balanced ) - or is there something else I can use ?

I don't intend to go offroad.

The Tourances for the ADV are an H rated tyre (up to 130mph).

I just tried to get a V rated rear Tourance for my 1200GS (above 130 mph) and found they are very scarce with a two month back-order from my local tyre fitter. The standard rear is £97 fitted, the V rated is costing me an extra tenner to be 'procured' this week.

Micheldever tyres had V rated tourrances in lasr week. I paid £77 for a front Ride in ride out.

Give them a call. they are just past Baisingstoke of the A303.

You could try Essential Rubber in Dalston (27 Downham Road, N1, tel 020 7241 0055). A good ride in/ride out service and competitive prices too.

He's mobile and a bit of a specialist in bikes...based in Leatherhead but did mine in the office car park.

Whoops! That was £215...hastily goes back to correct previous post....very thorough job though - greased everything that needed greasing - had a quick squiz at the pads and offered alternative tyres - like BTs.
