Touratech 2 litre canisters

I have fitted my GSA panniers with two 2 litre canisters and brackets as well as 2 bottle containers for stove fuel and water. the black 2 litre canisters have very narrow necks for filling with fuel from petrol pumps. Does anyone know of a wider necked fuel canister or are these things really meant for engine oil, water etc or do I just get a small funnel? What do other folk use them for?

how's it going chris you got them canisters filled yet ? just take some goggles with you when you fill up don't want to do a ewan .haven't got the 2610 ordered yet been reading threads on it all day more confused now.

Forry's GPS dilemma

GPS, as I said Forry keep the sea on your left and your'e heading north!!!What's the GPS co-ords on the Iceland DVD for Helges tyre dump so I can find it on my map? The Touratech cannisters are causing a bit of a dilemma but at nearly a gallon of extra fuel would give some peace of mind . The stove fits on OK which would give more pannier space so I'll try out which works best all I need now is a tow rope, folding shovel thingy and a camcorder!!!

Brilliant, thanks Forry. Just need to get mine back from Andy! Give me a shout if you are out this weekend same goes for any other Borders GSers! Even those south of the river(Tweed that is!)So I've got five months to work out what to take to Iceland hope the time passes quickly! But not when I'm there!
