Hi Folks,

I have a 41 liter TT Tank on my 1150 GS.
I have mounted the fuel pump in the normal position and I do not have the Fuel pump extension.
Do you know the effective fuel which can be used while riding ? ...therefore the effective range I have ?

One of the 2 taps is slightly "leaking"........it's not even a drop, but it's noticeable...

I thought it may be the inside "pin" (the one the seals the hole....with a small O-ring, which could be too old and dry, thus not serving the purpose anymore).

Shall I proceed to take the tap apart and replace the old O-ring ?...what else ?

I am a little reluctant to touch the whole thing, as I fear it may leak even more....

Any help would be much appreciated.....

connector

If it's a Q.D. type connector it will be an O ring common problem.

No Dave.

I am talking about the right hand side tap.

It is a screw-on type with a pin that goes inside the "alu tube" and has a small O-ring to seal the fuel.

There is a round bolt at the bottom of the tap......when turned counter clockwise, it pulls down the pin allowing the fuel to cross to the other side (where there is another tap like this one).

I am afraid the small leakage has to do with this pin not sealing properly...
