Folks,
I've limped my Rukka suit through the last 15+ years, re-proofing regularly and replacing Velcro and repairing rips, etc (Lancashire Sports Repairs do an amazing job) and it kept me dry through a 1200 mile ride through Scotland last week. However, the outer wets out and is a bugger to get dried and you can get cold with the wind-chill.
I'd therefore like to spend some dosh and get some new gear, but disappointed at the comments regarding the newer Rukka (Wukka) suits. Consideration has been given to Klim and I may still go that way, Held, or Revit. There's loads of good gear out there.
However, I'm really curious to see if there's anyone that has bought the Boreal suit from Touratwat? It's not the two-suit-in-one 'Worldwide' that Nick Sanders and others use, it's the 3-layer laminated Goretex jobbie. I can find few reviews of the Boreal and was wondering if anyone here has one? Not the cheapest, but if it's a good suit, I could get my money's worth out of it.

I'm not looking for the Holy-Grail of suits as it doesn't exist. If I was heading for Spain/ South of France, I'd actually get something like an RST Adventure which is a good value solution with loads of vents, or a BMW suit. But, I'm usually in the UK and in mixed weather....
Comments and abuse welcome (ish).
Cheers
