Has anyone fitted the Touratech 30mm bar risers on their 1200GS ?
I would like to try some but am in doubt if there is enough slack in the cables, especially the brakes.
The website says there may be a problem with the bars hitting the windscreen but that doesn't look as if it will be a problem.
Don't want to be left with parts that are no good as I got a bigger footpad for the sidestand from Touratech and it doesn't fit the new 06 sidestand. Emailed them about this and they said they had just found out it was different and were getting some new ones made but that was over three months ago and havent heard back from them even after sending a follow up email.

raisers from Nippy norman

Just fitted yesterday the bar raisers from nippy for a 2005 1200GS. Shipped to France in less than 4 days.

I chose these over other makers because I favor the set back (+4 cm) over the height increase (+2cm)

Had to adjust the fork to reroute brake and clutch cables which were too tight , but it's a 5 minute job, no special tools needed.

Result (so far) very convincing and a good quality gear.

Hope this helps

Ditto the product and cable work. Had to re-route electrical cables on right-hand side. Very easy to do with advice from this forum. A search under "bar risers" or "cables" should do it.
