TOURATECH IMO 100 R

Hi, I have an old IMO that I ordered many years ago. I messed up and ordered the German version. I tried to have it exchanged with an English version however Touratech Canada would not help me out. It’s been sitting on the shelf and with technology advancements, I’m wondering if it is possible to have the software changes to English.
Any ideas?

There's someone in Europe that repairs them, I'll see if I can find his number.
You'll almost certainly need to replace the internal battery as well which is a disassembly process.

I actually used one of our IMO's for a roadbook event a couple of weeks back, the first time in about 12 years, the first one that I tried had a screen fault and a flat battery the second had flat battery. I'll be asking TobyG if he can repair the screen and change batteries on both.

You can also power it from 4 AA batteries. I think I still have one.
And the internal battery is a special one with a tab soldered on one of the sides.

And I've found it!
Connects to the TT IMO via the two front contacts.
Unobtainium these days.
