I have a LED rear light unit by Touratech. The LED's that light up the number plate have, all but two at the lefthand end, failed,or at least stopped working, anyone ever had any expierience of repairing one of there items?

Yep. Mine's currently in bits.

The inside is just full of silicon rubber - it's a bit of a pfaff to dig it all out with a small screwdriver. Then you need to be good with a soldering iron as the circuit board's plated through.

I'm replacing the LED's with these one's from Maplin - PF07J

If you were any nearer I'd show you :(

Good luck!
