I have got a set of side panels but can not fit one side due to the the shock absorber ajuster. The knob is larger than in any of the Touratech info, has any one come across this before.

This is common....mine came with an adapter to place on the spindle once the knob had been removed, which (I think) you then used a supplied tool on?...or a spanner/socket?

I never bothered with it....and simply carried the knob with me, and removed the panel using the two fixing bolts, then used the original knob to adjust the suspension, then refitted the panel. Took minutes.

As you've probably found, the spindle doesn't line up with the center of the hole either.

Wunderlich do a panel that has a bigger hole in it to take the turning knob...but I'm not sure if it lines up with the spindle?...and it's a big hole!

I know it's not ideal...but it's the way it is unfortunately.

Hope that helps.
