touratech spare parts ?

Hi guys, I removed my touratech engine bash plate to do my oil change. I had to cut the 2 rubber bobbins to get it off as the bolts had seized in them even though I copper slip'd them. I now can't get replacement bobbins the correct size. The standard BMW ones are different, touratech don't list spares on their site and ebay has nothing the correct size.
Any idea where I can get them ? The rubber part is 16mm tall with a male m8 one end and female m8 the other.

Try an email to Nick at TT UK if no joy then Email TT Germany. I managed to get a replacement light mount for my old 1150 after a fall. Took some time but arrived ok.

Email or phone Tourateck UK as they're usually quite good at getting spare parts for Touratech products..............Over the years I've lost or broken a few bits and had them replaced no problem!

Ok thanks guys, I'll do that tomorrow. I should have done my service last month when the weather was Crap but I was to lazy. Now I'm waiting around for parts. That's why I thought I'd try ebay for a universal mount but none are the correct size.

The old Audtin Mini had a bobbin type exhaust mount. I've not checked these are correct but they may well fit

Yes but they are the type of stuff. All it takes is a search for "rubber bobbin mount" Also try "bobbin exhaust mount"

Yes I did that, but m6 is no good either ! I said in my original post m8. I looked at every fuel pump , oil cooler, and exhaust mount and none were the correct dimensions. Hence my post here.

these guys list M8 buffers. i always thought they were called silentbloc bushes.

The Part number for the ones i bought are B2015m820-1.5.

the original Touratech ones were 25mm diameter, 16mm tall with 16mm of m8 thread.
the ones I ordered (which were the closest to them) 20mm diameter, 15mm tall with 20mm of m8 thread.

So I shortened the thread by 2mm and fitted a 1mm stainless washer to the top of it.

Painted my rocker covers Anthricite grey also, really didnt like that funny gold:

They were delivered quick as well, ordered thursday morning came today (friday) £10 for 4 (two for spares) posted.
